Steven Hammerschmidt

Steven Hammerschmidt has work experience as a Civil Structural Engineer at TranSystems since November 2011. In this role, they specialize in the analysis, rehabilitation, complex inspection, and design of various types of structures, including bridges. Steven has extensive experience with in-depth inspections of different sizes and structure types, such as steel girder, fracture critical structures, tub girders, cable stay, suspension, truss bridges, and moveable bridges. Steven is also skilled in designing bridge structure repairs and rehabilitation and performing complex three-dimensional finite element modeling for new and rehabilitation purposes.

Alongside their educational journey, they have also obtained two additional certifications. One is the SPRAT Level III certification, obtained from SPRAT in January 2020, while the other is being a Professional Engineer, though the institution and specific timing of acquiring this certification are not provided.
