Leah Yacknin-Dawson

Leah Yacknin-Dawson currently serves as the Assistant Director of Communication and Language Support Programs at Carnegie Mellon University since September 2022, while also working as the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Project Manager for Trekkers since March 2022 and as a Freelance Copywriter since May 2021, providing technical writing services to professional nonprofits and creative individuals. Previously, Leah worked as a Professor at The University of Texas at Austin from August 2019 to January 2021 and as the Lead Educator for Kieve Wavus Education, Inc. from August 2013 to September 2015. Leah holds a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Grinnell College.
