Emily Degnan has extensive experience in customer service and research. Currently serving as a Server at Trio Restaurant since August 2018, Emily collaborates with a team at a well-regarded establishment within the Newport Restaurant Group. Concurrently, Emily has been an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Rhode Island since December 2017, focusing on schizophrenia research and drug development, with significant skill development in laboratory settings. Prior experience includes managing Iggy's Doughboys & Chowder House, where responsibilities included hiring and training front-of-house staff, and supervising shifts at Brewed Awakenings Coffee House, involving task delegation and customer service. Emily holds a Bachelor of Science in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Rhode Island and graduated from Pilgrim High School in 2014.
