Debbie Callins, MSN, RN, NEA-BC has a diverse and extensive work experience in the healthcare industry, spanning over several years. Debbie began their career as a Nurse Manager at La Clinica in 1998, where they worked until 2007. Debbie then joined Wetaskawin Hospital as an RN Special Care Unit nurse for a year before moving on to Kootenai Health in 2008, where they served as a Progressive Care Nurse until 2011.

In 2011, Debbie took on the role of Heart Failure Nurse Navigator at Kootenai Health until 2016, after which they became the PACU Nurse Manager until 2018. From 2018 to 2023, they held the position of Director of Critical Care and Pulmonary Services at the same institution. Debbie is currently employed at Trios Health as the Director of Critical Care Services, starting in June 2023.

In 2014 to 2016, they pursued a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership in Nursing from American Sentinel College. Currently, they are pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree in Executive Leadership from the same college, which is expected to be completed between 2021 and 2023. To further enhance their credentials, they obtained the Nurse Executive Advanced (NEA-BC) certification from the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) in November 2020.
