John Shields

John has more than two decades of experience in leadership and multiple areas of technology including enterprise architecture and agile methodologies.

John joined Triumph in late 2017 after several years as an IT consultant in various industries including healthcare, travel, telecom, distribution, and finance. As CTO, John is responsible for Triumph’s overall IT vision, which increasingly includes emerging technologies and leveraging decision science such as machine learning, big data, and neural networks.

Prior to Triumph, John worked as Principal Architect at Credera, full-service management and IT consulting firm, and also spent nearly a decade working for American Airlines as an Application Architect.

A veteran of the Navy, he served aboard the U.S.S. Carl Vinson.
