Ismael Colon

Ismael Colon, Ph.D., joined Troy Corporation in 1994 as Vice President of Science and Technology. Dr. Colon also held the position of Managing Director of Europe, and has been the General Manager of Additives since 2004. He studied organic chemistry at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute where he earned his Doctorate in 1976. In 1972, Dr. Colon obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Fairfield University.

Prior to joining Troy, Dr. Colon was a Quality Director and Business Director for Latin America, and Director of Research and Development at Union Carbide UCAR Emulsion Systems. He is an author of several technical papers on the chemistry of performance materials and holds more than a dozen U.S. patents.
