Hossam Hassan

Hossam Hassan is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in Android development. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Truecaller since November 2019, Hossam is involved in the messaging/chat feature development for an application utilized by over 400 million active users. Previously, Hossam held the position of Senior Android Engineer at Delivery Hero SE, where responsibilities included developing a Smart Point of Sale system and transforming requirements into actionable tasks. As a co-founder and CTO at Foorera, Hossam contributed to the creation of Egypt's first safe and affordable carpooling application. Experience also includes roles at Instabug, Udacity, Smart Innovation Technology, and as a freelancer, covering various projects ranging from Android SDK development to logistics management. Hossam holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Al Shrouk Academy.
