Erick Thompsen

Erick Thompsen has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Erick began their career as a Transportation Engineer at EMCS Design Group in 1990 and worked there until 1998. After that, they joined John Hancock Financial Services, where they held multiple roles. As an Application Developer, their main responsibility was providing production support and developing Cobol system enhancements and reports for the LifePRO Policy administration system. During this time, they also led integration and implementation projects for policy administration system upgrades and hardware refreshes. In 2003, they transitioned to the role of Systems Designer, where they designed and led the development of the notification solution for a multi-state/product Retail Long Term Care (RLTC) premium rerate initiative. Erick also coordinated and implemented vendor enhancements to the LifePRO policy administration system and integrated the solution with front-end workflow and back-end reporting systems. In 2012, Erick joined EXL as a Technical Services Consultant and worked there until 2023. Finally, they became an OIPA Integration Lead at TruStage in 2023.

Erick Thompsen obtained a BSCE in Civil Engineering with a Structural emphasis from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in the period of 1986 to 1990. Additionally, they also earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S) degree in Civil Engineering from the same institution during the same time frame.
