Maria-Elvira Zeman

Maria-Elvira Zeman is currently the Sales Director at Turbulent. Prior to that, they were the Product Manager at Ondernemers voor Ondernemers vzw from December 2017 to September 2020. Before that, they were the Office Director Materialise Latin-America (LATAM) from August 2010 to January 2015.

Maria has always been driven by results and motivating their team to achieve them. Maria-Elvira is also very passionate about 3D technology and has been promoting and training about it in universities, hospitals, and companies in LATAM. Thanks to their efforts, the pilot project they were responsible for Consolidating expanded into a fully-fledged company.

At Turbulent, Maria is responsible for guiding the success of the company and ensuring its sustainable financial evolution. Maria-Elvira is also in charge of detailed value chain analysis and supporting market access and reimbursement. With their experience and drive, Maria is poised to continue making great strides at Turbulent.

Maria-Elvira Zeman has a Bachelor of Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar, a Doctor of Philosophy from U.Central de Venezuela, and postdoctoral research from KU Leuven in Stability of cementles custom hip prosthesis and bone remodelling. Maria-Elvira also has certifications from edX in Gestión de Proyectos de Desarrollo - Project Management and Agua 2.0: Empresas eficientes para el siglo XXI-Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo.

They are on a team with Jasper Verreydt - Founder & CFO, Geert Slachmuylders - Founder & CTO. Their manager is Walter J.R. Buydens, CEO.
