Catalin Nichifor

Catalin Nichifor has extensive work experience, starting in 2001 as a Finance Manager at Lear Corporation and later moving on to roles such as Manager Finance & Operations at ING Real Estate Investment Management. Catalin also served as President of the Board of Directors at Energy Bio Chemicals SA and Director at Isorast Technology Rotary SRL. In 2010, they became Managing Partner at Fine Business Consulting, where they stayed until 2014. After that, they founded their own company, Nichifor Consulting, and became the Managing Partner. In 2015, they joined BM&T as a Managing Director. Catalin also served as a Non-Executive Director and a Member of the Supervisory Board at Complexul Energetic Oltenia from 2016 to 2018. In 2017, they became the President of the Turnaround Management Association Romania chapter. Their most recent position is the Chief Financial Officer at TAROM, starting in June 2021.

Catalin Nichifor obtained a Bachelor's degree in the Faculty of Accounting and Management Information Systems from the Academia de Studii Economice din București, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. Additionally, they obtained a certification as an EACTP Member from The European Association of Certified Turnaround Professionals in January 2017.
