Dr. Tramene Maye

Dr. Tramene Maye is an experienced educator currently serving as an Adjunct Instructor at The University of West Alabama since May 2022 and as the Coordinator of Attendance and Pupil Services for Tuscaloosa City Schools since June 2019. Prior experience includes serving as Principal for Sumter County School District from July 2015 to May 2019 and holding the positions of Assistant Principal and Classroom Teacher at Montgomery Alabama Public Schools from August 2004 to July 2015. Earlier roles also include Classroom Teacher at Sumter County School District from August 2002 to May 2004. Dr. Maye holds multiple degrees from The University of West Alabama, including a Doctor of Education in Rural Education Teacher Leadership (2020), an Educational Specialist in Educational Leadership and Administration (2008), a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration (2004), and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Teaching (2002).
