Jayaraman Premkumar

Jayaraman Premkumar has worked in a variety of roles since 2000. Jayaraman began their career at Hindustan Motors Ltd. as a Process Engineer, where they gained experience in the Body shop, Paint shop and Assembly shop, and learnt to prepare PPAP Documents, PFMEA, WSS etc. In 2004, they moved to Pricol Limited as a Junior Engineer. In 2005, they joined Spark Minda as Head Process Engineering - DGM, Head- Manufacturing, Head- Operations and Group Leader. In 2016, they joined Varroc as Deputy General Manager Operations, where they headed the entire operations for the electronics shop with a head count of 800 members and was a core member for Green field and Brown/green field projects. In 2020, they moved to General Industrial Controls Pvt. Ltd. (GIC) as Plant Head. Finally, in 2021, they joined Deccan Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. as Vice President of Manufacturing Operations. Currently, they are a Senior Project Manager in Manufacturing Innovation at TVARIT.

Jayaraman Premkumar has a diverse educational background. Jayaraman began their educational journey in 1997, obtaining a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Ramakrishna Mission Technical Institute. Jayaraman followed this up with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Technology from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani in 2013-2015. Jayaraman then went on to pursue a Master of Technology in Manufacturing Management from the same institute in 2015-2017. Currently, they are enrolled in an Executive MBA program at the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
