Kelly Rothenberger

Kelly Rothenberger is a Senior Research Associate at Twist Bioscience, where employment began in December 2021, following roles as Research Associate II and Research Associate. Prior experience includes Research Associate at Abveris from July 2020 to December 2021 and Study Hall Monitor at Advising Programs for Student-Athletes from September 2017 to June 2020, focusing on promoting academic success among student-athletes. An academic background as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Rhode Island involved studying the FtsA protein in E. coli, and an internship at Abveris took place in summer 2019. Additionally, Kelly worked as an Endangered Species Monitor for the Orleans Department of Natural Resources, protecting the piping plover. Kelly holds a Bachelor's degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Rhode Island, earned in 2020.
