Akash Dua

Akash Dua is an accomplished financial services professional with extensive experience in credit risk management and analytics. Currently serving as SVP - Chief Credit Officer at U.S. Bank, Akash leads merchant payment services, POS lending, and corporate payment services, overseeing credit risk management across North America and Europe. Prior roles include General Manager for co-branded credit card programs at Amazon and Senior Director of Risk Management at Lending Club, where Akash developed credit policies and launched new lending products. With a background in analytics and decision science at American Express and Fair Isaac, Akash has a proven track record in setting up risk management functions and driving business growth through strategic decision-making. Akash holds an MBA in Finance from Management Development Institute and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Delhi University.
