Elizabeth Porter

Ringer Honors Fellow at U.S. Copyright Office

Elizabeth Porter is a legal professional currently serving as a Legal Extern at Dorsey & Whitney LLP and has extensive experience in various legal and project management roles. Elizabeth holds the positions of Student Executive Director and McCarthy Institute Fellow at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, where responsibilities include co-chairing the Copyright Symposium Committee. Prior legal experiences include roles as a Law Clerk at the U.S. Copyright Office and Houk Law Firm, and an Intern at NPR's Office of the General Counsel. Elizabeth also has a background in event planning from positions at Battelle for Kids and BASIS.ed, as well as grassroots organizing experience with the Arizona Democratic Party. Elizabeth earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law and holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Italian Language and Literature from the University of Arizona.
