Blerton Abazi

Blerton Abazi, PhD, CISA, CyberOps, MCT, serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Information Systems at the University for Business and Technology (UBT) since September 2015, overseeing the Department of Information Systems and previously the Department of Computer Science. Abazi has extensive experience in academia as a professor of computer science, focusing on cybersecurity and information systems, and leads the UBT Executive Academy for Professional Development. As the Founder and CEO of Mediafleta, a company dedicated to improving information security, Abazi also held several significant roles, including Senior Director of Operations at Adaptivit and project manager at the Kosovo Center for International Cooperation. Abazi earned a PhD in Computer and Information Systems Security from Corvinus University of Budapest and studied cybersecurity at Cranfield University as a Chevening Fellow.
