Asst. Professor Of Surgery & Chief Of Section Of Minimally Invasive Surgery, Department Of Surgery at UERM

Dr. Miguel Mendoza has extensive experience in the surgical field, currently serving as the Chairman of the Department of Surgery, Chief of Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery, and Director of the Minimally Invasive Surgery Fellowship at Asian Hospital and Medical Center since January 2002. Additionally, Dr. Mendoza is the Program Director for the Minimally Invasive Surgery Training Program at AMOSUP-Seamen's Hospital, where advanced surgical procedures are offered to the members and dependents of the Associated Marine Officers and Seamen's Union of the Philippines. Since January 1997, Dr. Mendoza has also held the position of Assistant Professor of Surgery and Chief of the Section of Minimally Invasive Surgery at UERM Memorial Medical Center. Education includes a General Surgery Residency Program at UERM Memorial Medical Center (1993-1996), followed by training at Baylor College of Medicine (2000-2001) and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of the Philippines (1982-1987).
