Amit Khanna

Amit Khanna Ph.D. currently serves as a Staff Scientist at Ultima Genomics, leading the strategic development and operational execution of the next-generation sequencing (NGS) product line and managing B2B collaborations for essential NGS kits and reagents. Prior experience includes positions as Staff Scientist/Manager and Senior Scientist/Manager at Standard BioTools, where responsibilities encompassed IVD molecular assay development, customer support, and technical management. Amit also held senior scientist roles at Dovetail Genomics, focusing on assay application development and product development for NGS, and at Centrillion Biosciences, leading the development of assays for NGS and microarray platforms. Earlier research work included postdoctoral fellowships at the Buck Institute for Research on Aging and the University of Louisville, and a graduate student role at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, complemented by a background in molecular and cellular biochemistry. Education includes a Ph.D. from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, a Master's degree from Panjab University, and a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Panjab University.
