Chloe Bond has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries and roles. In 2018, they worked as an Image Processing Consultant at Skipton Building Society. The following year, Chloe served as a Front Desk Receptionist at Fiona Sharp Physiotherapy, where they managed bookings and ensured a positive customer experience. From 2015 to 2019, they worked as a Dance Teaching Assistant at Pendle Academy of Dance & Performing Arts, teaching ballet, modern, and tap dance classes to children.
In 2020, Chloe took on several roles. At Unibuddy, they worked as a Support Ambassador, assisting prospective students with their inquiries about admissions and their chosen courses. Chloe also wrote blog posts on the application process.
Chloe joined the University of Cambridge's Admissions Office in 2020 as a CAMbassador. In this role, they provided valuable insights to prospective applicants through Q&A sessions and a subject masterclass. Chloe also supported the admissions office in its Widening Participation initiative.
As a Student Mentor at Slipstream Education, Chloe mentored students from disadvantaged backgrounds, offering guidance on the transition from school to university. Chloe also created resources and provided personalized support to their mentees.
In the same year, Chloe became involved with Varsity Publications Ltd, first as a Contributing Writer, where they wrote and published articles for the Arts and Film & TV sections, and later as the Chief Sub-Editor. As Chief Sub-Editor, they led five different teams of sub-editors, ensured articles were edited on time, and resolved conflicts among team members. Chloe also trained new sub-editors and maintained a productive team environment.
In 2021, Chloe took on the role of Secretary at the Cambridge University Poetry & Prose Society. Their responsibilities included managing the society mailing list, organizing events, and taking minutes during committee meetings.
As a Student Ambassador (CAMbassador) for the Sutton Trust, Chloe helped facilitate academic sessions and discussions during the annual summer school program. Chloe collaborated with administrators and staff to ensure the smooth running of the event.
Chloe also served as a Student Ambassador for the University of Cambridge through The Ambassador Platform. Chloe provided insights into studying at Cambridge and answered queries from prospective students.
Throughout their various roles, Chloe demonstrated their ability to communicate effectively, take on leadership positions, and support others in their educational journeys.
Chloe Bond began their education at Colne Primet Academy from 2012 to 2017, where they focused on achieving their GCSE qualifications. Following this, they attended Burnley College from 2017 to 2019 to pursue their A Levels. Chloe's educational journey continued at the University of Cambridge, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education with a focus on English, Drama, and the Arts from 2019 to 2022.
