Aisha Baker-Smith MCIM has a diverse work experience in the field of digital marketing and communications. Aisha started their career at Muslim Aid UK as a Marketing Communications Consultant from November 2007 to July 2008. In July 2008, they joined Oxfam International as the Head of Internet Development until July 2009. Aisha then served as the Head of Digital Communications at Oxfam International from July 2009 to December 2013. During their time at Oxfam, they also held the position of Senior Digital Engagement Manager from December 2013 to January 2021. In 2021, Aisha joined the National Deaf Children's Society as the Digital Services Manager for a brief period from June to September. Aisha then took on the role of Head of Digital Marketing at the same company starting in September 2021 and is currently still employed there. Aisha's most recent position is as the Head of Digital at UNICEF UK, which they started in May 2023. Additionally, Aisha also gained experience as a Digital Advisor at Village Invest, Inc. from November 2015 to November 2017. Throughout their career, Aisha has shown a strong focus on digital marketing and has held various leadership positions in this field.

Aisha Baker-Smith MCIM has a diverse education history. Aisha obtained a Master of Library & Information Science (MLIS) degree from UCL during the period of 2000 to 2002. Aisha then pursued a BA in Arabic & History from SOAS University of London from 1995 to 1999. Later, Aisha expanded their knowledge in digital marketing by completing the CAM Diploma in Digital Marketing (Distance Learning) from Oxford College of Marketing from 2014 to 2018.

In addition to their formal education, Aisha has also achieved various certifications. In 2023, they obtained certifications in "Safeguarding for Trustees" from Thirtyone:eight and "Level 3 Safeguarding Adults Training" from High Speed Training. In 2022, they became a member of the CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing.
