Syed M. Taqvi

Syed M. Taqvi has a diverse work experience spanning several reputable companies. Syed M. started their career at UOP LLC as part of the Business Development, R&D, and Engineering team, where they worked from 1996 to 2005. Following this, they joined GE Oil and Gas as the Global Business Development Leader until 2008. At GE Oil & Gas, they took on the role of Marketing Director/Commercial Operations for Subsea Products. In 2011, they joined Hydratight (Service business of Enerpac Corporation) as the Vice President of Marketing and Product Management, a position they held until 2018. Currently, Syed M. Taqvi is employed at Unique Group, where they have held the position of Vice President for the Americas from 2018 to 2022, and is currently serving as the Executive Vice President for the Western Hemisphere.

Syed M. Taqvi obtained a B Tech degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi from 1987 to 1991. Syed M. then pursued a PhD in Chemical Engineering at the University of Virginia from 1991 to 1996. Later, they attended The University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 2001 to 2003, where they earned an MBA with a focus on Finance and Marketing.
