Christie W. has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Christie began their career at Dataplex in 1996 as a Sales Support. Christie then joined Synergy Plus in 1997 and held various positions, including Procurement Officer, Networking Pre-Sales Support, Annuities Sales Consultant, and Support Centre Manager. In 2006, they moved to UniSuper where they held multiple roles, such as Service Delivery Manager, Manager of Service Delivery and Application Support, Manager of Software and Services Portfolio, IT Risk Manager, Manager of Governance, Risk and Quality (Technology), Cyber Resilience Lead, and Cyber Resilience Manager. Christie'slatest role at UniSuper is Cyber Resilience Manager, which they started in July 2020.

Christie W.'s education history includes a Grad Dip Social Science degree in Social Research from the University of Tasmania, obtained in 1992. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Sociology from the same university, from 1989 to 1991.
