Dimitris Karmis

Dimitris Karmis has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and automation. Dimitris is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Uni Systems since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Megasoft SA as a .NET Developer from July 2020 to September 2022.

Before joining Megasoft SA, Dimitris held the position of Senior ERP Consultant- C# Developer at D.K. Infomatic Πληροφορική from February 2017 to June 2020. Dimitris started their career as an Automation Engineer at Ergazakis Nikolaos SA, where they worked from April 2015 to January 2017.

Prior to that, they gained experience as an Automation Engineer at Vimachem Industrial Solutions from April 2012 to March 2015, and at CONSTRAT Ltd from November 2010 to March 2012.

Dimitris Karmis has a strong educational background in the field of engineering and manufacturing systems. Dimitris obtained a Master's Degree (MSc) in Advanced Industrial & Manufacturing Systems from Kingston University, UK, from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's Degree (BSc) in Automation Engineering from the Technical Educational Institution (TEI) of Piraeus, Greece, spanning from 2000 to 2007.

In addition to their academic achievements, Dimitris has also acquired relevant certifications to enhance their professional skills. In November 2022, they completed three certifications through LinkedIn: "C#: Design Patterns Part 1," "Software Architecture: Patterns for Developers," and "Visual Studio Deep Dive: Unit Tests." These certifications demonstrate their commitment to staying updated with the latest industry practices and technologies.
