David Freid

David Freid has a diverse work experience in the film and media industry. David is currently working as a Director/Showrunner at United Talent Agency, a leading talent and entertainment company. Prior to this, they served as a Director at Nonfiction Unlimited, where they focused on bringing authentic storytelling to commercials and documentaries.

David also has experience as a Founding Director at MEL Films, an innovative production company. David worked at Condé Nast and The New York Times as a Video Producer, developing engaging video content. David has also worked as a Video Journalist at Digital First Media, where they created innovative multimedia stories.

In addition, David worked at Viacom on the MTV series "Catfish: The TV Show," contributing to the show's visual style through photography, videography, and motion graphics work. David has also mentored students and provided training in video journalism at the University of Southern California.

Earlier in their career, David worked at Trailer Park as a Production Coordinator and Post Production Supervisor. Additionally, they were a Photographer, Videographer, and Student Mentor at The Tiziano Project, where they created impactful pieces about regions in conflict and post-conflict situations.

David Freid earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Creative Writing and Cinema-Television from the University of Southern California between 2002 and 2005. Following that, they pursued a Master of Fine Arts degree in Motion Picture Producing from The American Film Institute from 2005 to 2007.
