Egi Tanadi Taufik is currently a lecturer at Institut Agama Islam Negeri Pontianak and serves as an executive board member at the Institute of Southeast Asian Islam (ISAIs) since October 2019, contributing to the understanding of scriptural hermeneutics and Abrahamic religions. Egi is also involved in various research capacities, including a junior researcher and master's dual degree candidate while working as an editor for ESENSIA: Jurnal Ilmu-Ilmu Ushuluddin. Previous roles include assistant lecturer at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta and apprentice at Institut DIAN/Interfidei, with significant experience in organizing and collaborating on international conferences related to Islamic studies. Egi’s educational background includes multiple master's degrees and a bachelor's degree in Religious Studies, with ongoing studies at The University of Edinburgh and Universitas Islam Internasional Indonesia.
