Mihai Gîrțu

Mihai Gîrțu is the Vice Rector, Research & Innovation at Universitatea OVIDIUS din Constanta. Mihai has also been a member of the CNSPIS, CNFIS, and CNCSIS. Prior to their current role, they were a teaching assistant at Universitatea OVIDIUS din Constanta and a researcher at Institutul National de Fizica Materialelor.

Mihai Gîrțu's educational career consists of a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics from The Ohio State University, a Master's degree in Applied Physics from University of Bucharest, and certification from Publons as a Verified Peer Reviewer.

They work with Viorica Popescu - Dean, Faculty of Applied Sciences & Engineering, Alina Buzatu - Dean, Faculty of Letters, and Aurelian Nicola - Dean, Faculty of Mathematics & Computer Science. Their manager is Dan-Marcel Iliescu, Rector.
