Mounir Tarek has an extensive academic and research background in physics, with a PhD from Université Paris Cité and a Master's degree from Mohammed V University in Rabat. Currently, Mounir Tarek serves as the Scientific and Technical Manager of the ORION Program at Université de Lorraine, overseeing a significant budget and collaboration among prestigious institutions. In addition, Mounir Tarek holds key roles as Coordinator of the Doctoral College and Director of the Doctoral School SESAMES at CNRS, where Mounir Tarek has been a Research Director and Research Fellow since 2002. Previous positions include Research Associate at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania, and a post-doctoral role at Université Henri Poincaré. Mounir Tarek's early research experience includes a PhD fellowship at the Commissariat à l'Energie Atomique.
