Melissa Calvert

Melissa Calvert is an accomplished development professional with extensive experience in higher education fundraising. Currently, Melissa serves as Associate Vice President at the University of Pennsylvania since February 2016, holding multiple roles including Associate Vice President for Development, Undergraduate and Individual Giving, and Vice Dean for Development and Alumni Relations for the Graduate School of Education. Previous experience includes serving as Chief Advancement Officer at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy and various leadership positions at the University of Pennsylvania in development for The Wharton Fund and Morris Arboretum. Melissa's career began at The Wharton School, where roles spanned from Assistant Director of Annual Giving to Senior Associate Director of Major Gifts. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts from Hamilton College.
