Michel Ferrell

Michel Ferrell has been working in HR for over 15 years. Michel began their career as an office assistant at the University of South Florida, where they processed employee appointments and position distribution forms. Michel also assisted with payroll processing and verification. In 2004, they became a benefits intern at PharMerica, where they helped employees troubleshoot benefits problems and processed employee benefits selections and changes. Michel also ensured the accuracy of employees' benefits. In 2003, they interned at CSX, where they participated in an imaging project to digitally capture 500,000 benefit files. Michel also maintained the monthly pension files of upcoming retirees and assisted in the annual pension audit. In their current role as manager of employee relations HRBP at the University of South Florida, Michel is responsible for overseeing all HR functions for the university.

Michel Ferrell has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of South Florida Muma College of Business. Michel is certified in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education.
