Tom Hollyer is an experienced educator with a strong background in boarding school management and geography instruction. Currently serving as the Housemaster of Fircroft at Uppingham School since September 2020, Tom oversees the pastoral and academic welfare of 56 boys aged 13-18, collaborates with the marketing department on outreach initiatives, and leads pupil recruitment efforts. Previously, as Head of Boarding at Caldicott from September 2018 to August 2020, Tom managed the well-being of 130 pupils and held additional responsibilities as a Designated Safeguarding Lead. Tom's earlier experience includes eight years at The Royal Grammar School High Wycombe, where responsibilities included managing a boarding house and teaching geography. Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Newcastle University, a PGCE in Geography from IOE - UCL, and a BSA Certificate in Boarding from the University of Roehampton.
