Ariel Noyman

Ariel Noyman is a Research Scientist and PhD Candidate at the MIT Media Lab, affiliated with the City Science Group since September 2017, with research interests in urban modeling, real-time urban analysis, and various aspects of human-computer interaction. Noyman co-founded nur in February 2020 and the CityScienceLab at HafenCity University Hamburg in May 2015, focusing on interdisciplinary approaches to urban challenges. Noyman also serves as an Urban Science Advisor for Urban AI and previously held a position as a Data Scientist at Autodesk in 2021. Additional experience includes roles as an Adjunct Professor at Northeastern University and a Research Specialist at MIT Media Lab, alongside architectural design work at KPF and research assistance at the MIT Norman B. Leventhal Center. Noyman holds a Master of Science in Architecture Studies from MIT and a Bachelor of Architecture, summa cum laude, from Bezalel Academy of Art and Design.
