Derek Herrera

Derek Herrera is the Founder-CEO of Bright Uro. Previously, Derek founded UroDev Medical, Habit Camera, and served on the Board of Directors for MedTechVets. Derek was also the President of the Board of Directors for Marine Raider Foundation and a Board Member for American Technion Society. Derek co-founded Marine Raider Challenge and worked in business development for NovaSignal. Derek was a Brand Ambassador for ReWalk Robotics and served as a Special Operations Officer in the U.S. Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command. Derek holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management, a BS in Systems Engineering from the United States Naval Academy, and completed an entrepreneurship program at Y Combinator.
