Joe DiNero

Joe DiNero has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Joe is currently working as the Digital Accessibility Team Lead at UsableNet since June 2018. Prior to that, they served as an Assisstive Technology Specialist at Helen Keller Services for the Blind since March 2018. Joe also has experience in leadership roles at Knights of Columbus, where they worked as a District Deputy from July 2010 to June 2013, and as the Grand Knight at St. Regis Knights of Columbus from July 2008 to June 2010. Additionally, Joe has entrepreneurial experience as the Owner of Renegade Records from January 1996 to March 1999. Joe started their career in the hospitality industry, working as a Resident Manager at Days Inn LaGuardia Airport from January 1988 to June 1995.

Joe DiNero attended Suffolk County Community College from 2005 to 2009, where they studied Computer Science but did not obtain a degree. Joe also obtained certifications in JAWS from Freedom Scientific, Inc. in April 2022, and in ZoomText from the same institution in January 2018.
