Evelien Carrette serves as a Clinical Professor at Ghent University since October 2020 and has been a Clinical Research Coordinator at UZ Gent since August 2006, managing various coordination activities, particularly within the 4BRAIN project. In addition, Carrette functions as a Neurology Policy Officer, collaborating with the head of the Neurology Department on research, clinical, and teaching initiatives. With expertise in magnetoencephalography for epilepsy, Carrette has coordinated investigations at UZ Gent's Reference Center for Refractory Epilepsy since 2008. Previous roles include Research Coordinator at the Institute for Neuroscience and a PhD student focusing on the value of magnetoencephalography in evaluating refractory epilepsy. Carrette holds a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences from Ghent University, earned between 2002 and 2006.
