Naghi Prasad

Naghi Prasad has held a variety of positions in the tech industry since 2005. Naghi started their career as Vice President of Engineering at Verity in 2005. In 2006, they moved to Turn as Vice President of Engineering, and the company was later acquired by Amobee. In 2007, they joined Tapjoy as VP of Engineering. In 2011, they became VP of Engineering and Co-founder of Super Lucky. Later that year, they joined SwoopTalent as Founding Board Member. In 2012, they were appointed CEO & Co-Founder of Deep Forest Media, which was later acquired by Rakuten. In 2015, they were appointed Senior Vice President, Strategic Data Initiatives at Rakuten Marketing. In 2016, they became CTO & Co-founder and CEO & Co-Founder at Astound. In 2019, they joined PathPresenter.com as Board Member. Currently, they are CTO & Co-Founder at Valet Closet.

Naghi Prasad began their educational journey in 1984, when they received a B. Tech in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. From 1988 to 1990, they pursued an MS in Computer Science at the same institute. Naghi then moved to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they earned an MS in AI & Cognitive Science in 1991. Finally, they completed their Ph. D. in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1997.
