Raoul Zon

Raoul Zon has extensive work experience in the technology and IT management field. Raoul is the owner and founder of BrightStar IT Management & Consulting, a role they have held since August 2023. Raoul has also served as the interim CTO NL - Commerce & Technology at VML and the Director of Technology - Composable - North America at Valtech, both since October 2023. Prior to these roles, Raoul was the CTO Digital Customer Experience at Capgemini from June 2021 to September 2023 and a member of Tech Council & Admissions Panel at MACH Alliance from March 2021 to September 2023. Their background also includes various positions at Valtech, where they served as the Director of Technology from July 2020 to June 2021, the Development Director Commerce from January 2018 to July 2020, the Sr. Software Architect & Lead development from July 2016 to December 2017, and the Lead Developer from July 2014 to June 2016. Raoul began their career as a Senior Java Developer at Marviq from January 2009 to March 2010 and later served as a Lead Java Developer & Architect at Promedico ICT B.V. from March 2010 to June 2014.

Raoul Zon obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Digital communications from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) from 1999 to 2004. Prior to that, they attended Revius Lyceum from 1993 to 1999. In addition, they have also obtained certifications such as ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP) from ICAgile in 2015, hybris certified Core Developer V5 from hybris software in 2015, and Professional Scrum Master I from Scrum.org in 2011.
