Sushma has a diverse range of work experience in the technology industry. Sushma is currently the CTO/Head of Engineering at VASPP, where they focus on data and AI product strategy. Prior to that, they founded InzpireU, a mentorship platform that leverages AI technology. Sushma also worked as a Senior Director of Digital Engineering at NTT DATA Services, where they built high-performing teams and contributed innovative ideas to enhance project outcomes. Sushma served as the Director of DevOps (AWS) at SiriusXM Connected Vehicle Services and as a Senior Technology Consultant at both AT&T and Target. Sushma also worked as an Engineering Manager at Carlson Wagonlit Travel and as a Senior Technical Consultant at US Tech Solutions.

Sushma has a diverse education history. In 2007-2008, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Strategy Management from the INDIAN SCHOOL OF BUSINESS MANAGEMENT AND ADMINISTRATION. In 2010, they completed a Six Sigma certification program at Villanova University. From 2014-2015, Sushma pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Administration and Management, General from the Minnesota School of Business. In 2021, they attended the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business for Executive Education in Digital Transformation. Additionally, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from B. M. S. College of Engineering from 1997-2001. Sushma has also acquired several certifications, including Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals and various certifications in Agile methodologies and digital transformation.
