Allyson Plyler

Allyson Plyler has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Allyson is currently working as an Associate Director of QA Operations at Vaxcyte since November 2023. Previously, they served as an Associate Director of Quality Assurance at Global Blood Therapeutics, which was later acquired by Pfizer, from February 2022 to November 2023. Prior to that, Allyson was a Senior Manager at Amgen from September 2019 to February 2022, where they managed the quality disposition department and performed comprehensive quality assessments. Allyson also worked as a Senior Manager of Quality Engineering at Kite Pharma from January 2018 to September 2019. Before transitioning to the pharmaceutical industry, Allyson gained experience as a Senior Consultant / Associate Manager at Accenture from July 2016 to January 2018. Allyson started their career at Shire in 2008 and held various roles including CMO Quality Lead/Quality Associate III, Quality Assurance Analyst II, and QC Microbiology Analyst I, II, Lead, before leaving in 2016.

Allyson Plyler earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Microbiology, General from California State University, Northridge. Allyson also holds additional certifications, including the ASQ Certified Quality Auditor from ASQ - World Headquarters obtained in June 2018, the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification from Caltech obtained in 2017, and the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Baxter Bio Science obtained in 2012.
