John Riley

John Riley has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as a System Engineer at VC3 since October 2017. Prior to that, they worked as a Network Engineer CooP at Cisco from January 2017 to May 2017. In this role, they gained hands-on experience with Cisco technology products and was responsible for troubleshooting customer builds, device recovery, hardware and connectivity troubleshooting, and documentation. Before their time at Cisco, John worked as an IT Business Analyst Internship at UNC REX Healthcare from May 2016 to August 2016. John also has experience in sales, having worked as an Inside Sales representative at State Electric Supply Co. from May 2011 to January 2015, and as a Counter Sales representative at Batteries Plus Bulbs from August 2010 to May 2011. Prior to these roles, they worked as an Inside Sales representative at Mayer Electric Supply Co., Inc. from January 2005 to June 2010. Additionally, John served as a Student Manager at Southwestern Company from May 2002 to August 2004. Overall, John has a strong background in IT, networking, sales, and business analysis.

John Riley attended Durham Technical Community College from 2015 to 2017, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Information Technology and another Associate's degree in Networking Technology. Prior to that, they attended North Carolina State University from 2000 to 2004, earning a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Additionally, in May 2017, they obtained the CCNA certification from Cisco.
