Anton Avtamonov

Anton Avtamonov has a diverse work experience that spans over several companies and roles. Anton is currently the Vice President of Software Engineering at Vecima Networks Inc., where they oversee the design and development of modern CDNs, video streaming, and IP TV solutions. Prior to this, they worked at ARRIS as a Sr Manager of Software Engineering for almost 8 years, leading a distributed team in developing complex solutions in cable and data delivery areas. Their responsibilities included full-stack development and expertise in embedded software, Linux, Wi-Fi, networking, WebGUI, and related technologies. Anton also gained experience in RESTFul APIs, cloud components (including AWS), and IoT and Alexa voice support.

Before ARRIS, Anton worked at Motorola as a Software Program Manager and Development Lead, where they managed projects in the Set Top Box area and related digital-home solutions. Anton also served as the Head of the Set Top Box development organization for Americas at Motorola's software development center in St. Petersburg, overseeing a team of 80 engineers and 10 managers.

Anton began their career at Intel as a Software Engineer and Tech Lead, where they worked on clean room open source implementation of Java Swing subsystem and gained technical insight into Java SE architecture. Anton also worked at Borland Software as a Team Lead, leading the development of features for the Borland Modeling framework.
