Chandana Ihalage

Chandana Ihalage currently serves as the Assistant Finance Controller at Barceló Whale Lagoon Maldives since August 2023 and has held a similar position at Velassaru Maldives since August 2019, focusing on financial budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis. Prior to these roles, Chandana worked as a Senior Accountant at Resplendent Ceylon from June 2017 to July 2019, where responsibilities included preparing financial accounts for the flagship property and leading the finance department. Previous experience also includes positions at Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas and Crown & Champa Resorts, involving budget checks, financial reporting, and cash flow monitoring. Chandana holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, completed in 2009.
