Sidath Anuruddha

Sidath Anuruddha is an experienced engineering professional with a focus on resort management and marine engineering. Currently serving as Chief Engineer at Velassaru Maldives since June 2016, Sidath Anuruddha oversees engineering and maintenance operations, procurement of spare parts, and adherence to preventive maintenance schedules for guest villas and facilities. Prior to this role, Sidath Anuruddha held the position of Chief Engineer at Diamonds Athuruga Maldives Resort & Spa from March 2013 to June 2016, where responsibilities included MEP/HVAC maintenance and the management of various facilities. Sidath Anuruddha's career began in the Sri Lanka Navy from February 1997 to February 2012 as a Technical Officer in Marine Engineering, focusing on the maintenance and repair of vessels' engineering systems.
