Sarmed Rashid

Sarmed Rashid is currently the Growth Lead at Venteur. Prior to this, Rashid served as Head of Strategy, Growth, & Special Projects at Pando from November 2020 to August 2021. In this role, Rashid was responsible for leading the development of the company's strategic plan and overseeing its implementation.

Previously, Rashid served as a civil servant at The White House from September 2017 to November 2020, where they led the development of the Federal government's plan to provide treatment to over 18M Americans battling opioid and substance addiction and coordinated the implementation of this plan across 21 agencies.

Rashid began their career as a Presidential Management Fellow at The White House's Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) under the Obama Administration.

Sarmed Rashid has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The Wharton School and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Harvard Kennedy School. Sarmed also has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Plan II Honors, Government, Mathematics from The University of Texas at Austin.

They work with Brad Fletcher - CSO, Brandon Molnar - Head of Marketing, and Nicole Nordstrom - Community Architect. Sarmed Rashid reports to Stacy Edgar, CEO.
