Sabrena Rodriguez

Sabrena Rodriguez has extensive experience in educational governance and community service, currently serving as Trustee and Board President for the Ventura Unified School District since November 2016. Rodriguez has been a member of the Board of Directors for the California School Boards Association since January 2021 and a Delegate for District 11 since March 2019, advocating for Ventura County students at the state level. Additional leadership roles include Board Member at Ventura Botanical Gardens Inc. and previous President of the Ventura Education Partnership. Earlier in the career, Rodriguez worked as Program Manager and Communications Coordinator for the Rainforest Alliance and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and Ecology from UC Irvine and a Master of Science in Conservation Biology from the University of Kent.
