Rob Cromwell

Rob Cromwell is the current VP of Engineering at Verkada. Prior to Verkada, they were the Co-Founder and VP of Engineering / CTO at Inkling from November 2009 to March 2018. Rob was responsible for managing R&D team of 50+ in all aspects of building Inkling’s software products, including the planning, implementation and operations. Rob made key technical contributions as Inkling’s founding engineer, including the original platform architecture.

Inkling’s products are used by millions of people across the US and internationally. Many Fortune 500s, including McDonald’s, Comcast, CAT, and Farmers Insurance, use Inkling to train their workforces.

Before co-founding Inkling, Cromwell was the Director of Advertising Operations at AudienceScience from April 2002 to January 2010.

Rob Cromwell reports to Filip Kaliszan, Co-Founder & CEO. They are on a team with James Ren - Co-Founder & Software Architect, Martin Hunt - CTO, and Kameron Rezai - CFO.
