Alexandre Asselin

Alexandre Asselin has a diverse and extensive work experience in communications and public affairs. Alexandre has held various roles in different government agencies and departments, including Veterans Affairs Canada, Global Affairs Canada, Senate of Canada, and the Office of the Prime Minister of Canada. Alexandre'smost recent role was as Senior Director of Strategic and Digital Communications at Veterans Affairs Canada. Before that, they worked as Director of Public Affairs and Media Relations Manager at the same organization. Prior to joining Veterans Affairs Canada, Alexandre worked at Global Affairs Canada in roles such as Deputy Director of Strategic Communications, Deputy Director of International Assistance Results Management and Reporting Systems, and Deputy Director of Digital Innovation and Engagement. Alexandre also held positions in media relations, ministerial liaison, and international development. Alexandre started their career at the Senate of Canada as a Communications Officer and later served as an Executive Assistant. Alexandre also gained valuable experience as a Media Advance Officer at the Office of the Prime Minister of Canada.

Alexandre Asselin attended Carleton University from 1999 to 2003, earning a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) degree in Political Science.
