Amy Torrey-Rinehart

Amy Torrey-Rinehart is currently the Ohio Clean Marinas Program Administrator for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, a position held since September 2023, focusing on environmental stewardship and certification for marinas and boaters. Simultaneously, Amy serves as HR/Office Manager at VFI and has volunteered with Preservation Parks of Delaware County since February 2020. Previously, Amy held various educational roles at the Columbus Zoo from 2004 to 2020, including Visitor Education and Engagement Educator and Conservation Education Instructor, where responsibilities spanned program development, staff supervision, and community engagement. Amy also owned and managed a small ferretry operation, achieving recognition at the Ferret Buckeye Bash, and worked as a Senior Annuity Financial Specialist at Nationwide Insurance. Academically, Amy holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from The Ohio State University and an Associate of Science from Columbus State Community College.
