Emily Thoroughman

Emily Thoroughman is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in people development and organizational leadership. Currently serving as the People Development Manager at Veterans United Home Loans since April 2015, Emily oversees initiatives that enhance the human experience at the company through coaching in emotional intelligence, communication, and leadership. Previous roles include People Development Partner and Wellness Program Manager, where Emily launched a mindfulness initiative and facilitated various personal development programs. Prior to Veterans United Home Loans, Emily spent over two decades at Atkins, Inc., ultimately holding the position of Chief Operating Officer. Educational credentials include a Master's in Strategic Leadership from Stephens College and training at the UC San Diego School of Medicine Center for Mindfulness.
