Greg Young

Greg Young is an experienced forensic pathologist and educator, currently serving as an Adjunct Senior Lecturer and Adjunct Lecturer at Monash University since August 2016. In addition to academic roles, Greg holds multiple positions in professional organizations, including Assistant Chief Examiner in Forensic Pathology and Forensic Advisory Committee Member at the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia since 2018, along with serving as a Technical Assessor for the National Association of Testing Authorities, Australia since 2019. Prior clinical experience includes significant roles at the Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine, Southern Health, Dorevitch Pathology, and various hospitals, providing a strong foundation in anatomical pathology and emergency medicine. Greg holds a Master's degree in Health and Medical Law from the University of Melbourne (2023-2026) and has completed several graduate courses in Disaster and Emergency Response from Edith Cowan University. Greg is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia, having achieved this distinction in forensic pathology from 2008 to 2014, and holds medical degrees from The University of Auckland.
