Dr. Andrea Buratti

Dr. Andrea Buratti has a strong background in product management, change management, and research and development. Dr. Andrea is currently the Director of Product Management at Viega GmbH & Co. KG, where they are responsible for managing the strategy and change process for high-tech subsidiaries and the Corporate Technology division. Prior to that, they worked at Werkzeugmaschinenlabor WZL der RWTH Aachen, where they served as a Team Lead for Industrial Tomography and Project Manager. In these roles, they led R&D projects, achieved technological breakthroughs, and supported customers in implementing automation concepts. Dr. Andrea also has experience as a Research Assistant.

Dr. Andrea Buratti has an extensive education history focused on mechanical engineering and business administration. They obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano in 2011. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University in 2012, as well as another Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano from 2011 to 2013. Dr. Buratti furthered their educational journey by earning a Ph.D. (Doktor) in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University between 2014 and 2018.

In 2020, Dr. Buratti attended the Junior Management School at SGMI Management Institut St. Gallen, specializing in Business Administration and General Management. They recently obtained an additional certification in "Future Skills for Professionals" from ada (Mediaproduction) in June 2021.
